Question by N B: How difficult would a business degree program be for a creative, artistic person?
I am currently an English major who likes writing, but now I’m thinking about making the switch to Business. I do have some interest in business, though not as much as English. But I know that the business degree will provide more job opportunities. And I can still take part in my creative endevours on the side.

But I’m wondering whether or not creative types struggle and have trouble in the business degree program

Well, this kind of choice is a really personal thing. If you are truly creative, different and individualistic you will probably struggle with a business program. You’ll probably feel bored. Why not keep up with English and follow your heart. You can always take a few business classes on the side just to try them out or pursue this as a minor.

One you graduate people don’t seem to care about the exact degree in business–they are interested in your reliability and ability to work with others.

My wife is a great cook and good at baking. We figure…why not try to open a small bakery? But before having an actual bakery we want to try to take it one step at a time. We were wondering how to start off a small business from home because we have no experience on the business side. Thanks!

Awh.
You can try by asking people at work, family and friends as a step to talk about your upcoming business.

You can make cute cards at vista prints for a really decent price! They have deals almost every week.

You can make a cute website and flyers to refer to the site. You can take photos to put them up on both the site and flyers.

I think you should deliver your goods for customers, if your not conformable having strangers at your house. You can even do sampling to their house if you want.

Um, make a rule thingy, you know no refunds after 48hrs after order, last min changes will charged, stuff like that

Err, they’re ppl who are allergic to stuff, so make sure you include whats in your goods.

That’s all I can think of, but I’ve came across some cute stuff on the score credit.

My mom and I want to start our own business.We want to do something fun and unique, but a business that’s not already out there or that has been started by many other peoples. Ex:bakery,patisserie or candy shoppe.

And she wanted to know how she can print them herself

I said why don’t you send checks? – of course thumbs down.
What business would require the business owner to send out money orders instead of checks?

If you make a decent living at your business, Obama takes about 50% in income taxes. He then wants to tell you what you can pay your employees and take 12% of that for social ecurity taxes. Then, if you sell the business he takes another 15% in capital gains taxes (and he really wants to take more). Then, when you die, he takes 50% of your estate. As it ends up, Obama takes about 75% of everything you invested the money and worked your a** off to have.
