Question by N B: How difficult would a business degree program be for a creative, artistic person?
I am currently an English major who likes writing, but now I’m thinking about making the switch to Business. I do have some interest in business, though not as much as English. But I know that the business degree will provide more job opportunities. And I can still take part in my creative endevours on the side.
But I’m wondering whether or not creative types struggle and have trouble in the business degree program

Well, this kind of choice is a really personal thing. If you are truly creative, different and individualistic you will probably struggle with a business program. You’ll probably feel bored. Why not keep up with English and follow your heart. You can always take a few business classes on the side just to try them out or pursue this as a minor.
One you graduate people don’t seem to care about the exact degree in business–they are interested in your reliability and ability to work with others.

Question by QD: How does a person have a business and not be found or made to pay taxes?
my ex husband has a business that is not files with the state, but operates like a ligitiment business. He does not pay taxes. Is there a legal way to make him pay his taxes?

Question by FM2H: How can I become a business person after I become a doctor?
My primary goal is to become a doctor. However, I had always seen myself as a top notch business girl with private limos and everything. Is it possible that after I become a doctor I can use my skills in also becoming a business leader?

Question by Dude: What is the best business to start for a sales person?
I’m thinking about leaving the corporate world. I’ve been in sales for several years and I’m wondering if anyone has any good advice on what a good business to start would be for a sales person. Franchise or business opportunity. I’m looking for something specific like “have you looked at ABC Company” vs. generic like “franchises are good” etc …

Question by Meh: How do you separate personal from business expenses as a self-employed person?
And how stingy can you get? I’m a Pilates trainer, but I also need to have training sessions at least twice a month to keep myself aware of what I’m teaching others. Could this be counted as a business expense? Or if, for instance, I only wear makeup when I go to business meetings (which is true), and not for everyday things like going to the grocery store, can I write it off as a business expense?

Answer “Yes” – training sessions because to improve your skill in order to perform your task for the business. It’s ok to charge to business expenses.
Answer “No” – makeup used for upkeep your appearance have been paid in term of Salary or Remuneration.
Same go to food, groceries for personal use.
Unless you charge to entertainment alllowance or staff benefits which involved with business customer or maintaining business operation.

Question by Lennin V: What steps should a business person take to avoid the pitfalls common to a small business?
Say this person has no experience at all with the business side only technical. Never went pass high school. His boss is retiring and want him to buy the company. What steps can he take to avoid the pitfalls common to a small business?

Well then that person would have to learn a lot about business. Business is very complicated and indepth. You would have to learn all the terms and processes. While, I don’t know that much about business, I would recommend talking to the boss and asking him for help.

Hello,
I am currently shifting from Web devloper with ASp.net and SQL Server TO Microsoft Dynamics CRM so can anybody please tell me about future of crm for me in IT field. means as a grow in it field and with salary aspects.
Am i taking right decesion from transferring from asp.net to microsoft dynamics. ??

Well, it is a very nice target to shot.
Let´s take a look on some aspects:
1 – Microsoft is investing very hard on Dynamics platform and it seems that it is working according Garter http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2009/apr09/04-29crmmqpr.mspx
2 – Dynamics CRM has more than 1.000.000 worldwide implementations. It says that it was passed on different kinds of companies.
3 – Dynamics CRM is not only a software for costumer relationship management. It is also a development platform. So it it good to have this know-how.
4 – Dynamics is one of the 5 top investments areas on Microsoft.
On my particular vision, ERPs are the only area that Microsoft is not a leader. In my opinion, Microsoft is working in order to face SAP on next 5 years and will be very nice to know this platform now so you will be in a good position in there.
I have change from .NET default development and Sharepoint development for Dynamics CRM development and I am very satisfied.
Is it enough?
